Profile
Professional, qualified, dedicated, thorough and enthusiastic!
- Project Manager native or near-native English speaker
- Three to five years’ experience in the industry
- Translation project management, quality control and business development
skills
- Energetic, autonomous, reliable, good communications skills
- Knowledge of major commonly-used translation software (Trados, HTML
QA, QuarkXpress)
- Team-worker, customer service-oriented
Responsibilities
Project management
- Managing single-language or multilingual projects generated by Paris
and/or London office
- Quality Assurance
- Establishing and managing a reliable network of technical translators
Business Development
- Activating our French business contacts in the UK
- Prospecting for English to French translation contracts (managed by
Paris office)
- Prospecting for English to other language translation contracts (managed
by Paris and/or London office)
- Establishing and managing a local and regional client database
